Northwest Arkansas Gets 4-2 Win
Northwest Arkansas pitcher Jared Hughes did his part in helping his team beat the Corpus Christi Hooks, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Picking up the save was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Del Jacobs. Today's win puts Northwest Arkansas at 25-27, while Corpus Christi falls to 23-29.

The Naturals benefited from a costly error in the top of the fifth. With Edwin Wolf at bat and Northwest Arkansas leading 1-0, the Corpus Christi miscue allowed Northwest Arkansas to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.

"That was a really good outing by Jared," said Northwest Arkansas manager Steve Falteisek.
