Rocha Throttles Corpus Christi, 5-0
|
The Springfield Cardinals got great pitching from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Alfredo Rocha, allowing them to bump off the Corpus Christi Hooks, 5-0. The Cardinals have an impressive 38-17 record.
Rocha delivered a quality start for Springfield. The 6-foot-3 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 8.1 innings of work.
"Alfredo had good arm action, good stuff," said Springfield manager Brandon Kintzler.
