The Frisco RoughRiders got a marvelous performance from pitcher José Jáquez. The right-hander kept the Northwest Arkansas offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-0 Frisco victory at Arvest Ballpark. The winning pitcher was Jáquez, now 2-4. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7. Chris Martin earned the save for Frisco, his 4th.

Jeremy Wolf hit a run-scoring triple off Álex Ayala in the top of the second, which put the RoughRiders in front, 1-0. Wolf had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"Makes our job easier," said Wolf, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."

The RoughRiders now have a record of 16-40.
