De Leon Hurls Frisco to Shutout Victory
Jose De Leon kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Frisco RoughRiders were all smiles after winning, 10-0, against the Midland RockHounds at Security Bank Ballpark. The right-handed De Leon gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits, and tallied 7 strikeouts.

"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," De Leon said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."

Up to now De Leon has recorded a record of 8-2. In 12 starts he has fanned 80 batters in 87 innings with a 2.28 ERA.
