Jeremy Ovalle pitched a gem to lead San Antonio to victory over the Corpus Christi Hooks, 2-1. José Rocha closed it out for San Antonio, earning his 8th save. The Missions raised their record to 23-36.

It could have been a different outcome for San Antonio, had it not been for Raúl Rivero, the 28-year old right fielder . Rivero contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put San Antonio up, 2-1.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Ovalle.
