Missions Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
San Antonio and Midland duked it out and the Missions came out victorious.

San Antonio picked up a win at Security Bank Ballpark, bumping off the Midland RockHounds, 6-3. Pitcher Jerry Lawrence was a major reason the Missions emerged victorious. The save went to Sergio Guzmán, number 7 for him.

Had Zach Ford not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ford hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Missions.

After the game, San Antonio manager Nick Vincent applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.

Midland, at 23-44, has lost 5 straight.
