The Midland RockHounds picked up a win at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, topping the San Antonio Missions, 6-4. On the mound for Midland was right-hander Tony López. He played a principal role in the triumph. Yajirobei Hirayama earned the save for Midland, his 13th of the year. The win puts Midland at 25-42.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for José Domínguez? The 25-year old first baseman Domínguez stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Midland up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"We ground out the win," said Domínguez. "That's all that matters."
