Missions designated hitter Len Flynn left his mark on his team's 7-5 win over the Midland RockHounds. Flynn went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for San Antonio in the contest. San Antonio reliever Dave Davis snagged the win, upping his record to 1-4. Manny Santana shouldered the loss. José Rocha was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.

Irving Johnson, who is tied for 4th in the TEX in triples with 3, aided the San Antonio cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1-1 with a double.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said San Antonio manager Nick Vincent.

The win has San Antonio at 25-42.
