The San Antonio Missions had to overcome a good performance from Midland pitcher Manny Santana to claim a 3-2 win at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Santana went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. The setback makes Midland 25-43.

San Antonio got a clutch hit from Chris Sullivan. The first baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Sullivan said.
