Tony Martínez had a good game, but he could not keep the Frisco RoughRiders from falling, 8-6, to the Midland RockHounds at Security Bank Ballpark. The Frisco first baseman was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once in the loss. The win puts Midland at 26-43.

Midland took the lead, 7-6, on Andy Wilson's 24th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Wilson hit in the bottom of the eighth, made Frisco pitcher Bernardo Mejía wince.

"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said RockHounds manager Basilio Cabrera.
