Corpus Christi registered a win at Whataburger Field by beating the Midland RockHounds, 5-2. Pitcher Mike Wilson was one reason why the Hooks triumphed. Wilson, now 6-8, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 9, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. The victory gives Corpus Christi a record of 39-31.
