Scallini Swings Missions to 8-3 Win
The 4-RBI night of second baseman Galtero Scallini helped the San Antonio Missions triumph, 8-3, over the Frisco RoughRiders. Tommy Boyd got the win, improving to 1-1. He worked 7 innings, giving up 1 run on 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. The Missions have now won 8 straight.

Had Scallini not come through in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Scallini hit a 2-run single. The Missions never looked back after taking the 3-1 lead.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said San Antonio manager Nick Vincent.
