A good performance from center fielder Eric Thomas helped the Arkansas Travelers defeat the Springfield Cardinals, 8-3. Thomas went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 for the Travelers. Juan Méndez, the winner, is now 3-4.
