The Frisco RoughRiders took Ed Miles's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. The final score had Frisco getting past the Missions, 4-3, in 11 innings. Miles over 10.1 innings allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 9. The RoughRiders lead the South Division by 10½ games.

Frisco used the timely hitting of Elys Escobar to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the RoughRiders on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Escobar told the Frisco Today.
