Senators Send Bowie Home with 3-1 Loss
Harrisburg turned a good effort from starter Chris Rouse into a win over the Bowie Baysox at Metro Bank Park. The Senators won the game, 3-1. Rouse, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Senators have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 12 games.

Harrisburg first baseman Willie Marshall contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 8th hit of the season and put the Senators ahead, 2-1.

"Bottom line," said Bowie skipper Jack McDowell, "we didn't play well enough to win."
