Corpus Christi got a terrific performance from pitcher Don Scott, but it wasn't enough to beat the Midland RockHounds. Midland won the Whataburger Field contest, 2-1. Scott threw 10.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. With the win, the RockHounds are 34-77.

Scott turned in a fine performance for Corpus Christi. He struck out 6 and limited the RockHounds to one earned run over 10 innings.
