Arkansas Travelers starter António Martínez pitched a strong game against the Midland RockHounds at Dickey-Stephens Park, leading the Travelers to victory, 4-2. Kevin Jenkins nailed down the save. The second-place Travelers have won 8 in a row.

Chris Sweet had a big run-scoring double for the Travelers in the bottom of the second inning. With Arkansas leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Víctor Franco, who is tied for 3rd in the TEX in innings pitched with 138.0, and swatted a double to right. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Travelers ahead, 2-0.
