The Arkansas Travelers topped the Frisco RoughRiders, 7-4, in Texas League action at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Arkansas pitcher José Olivas. Arkansas, at 62-53, holds down third place in the North Division.

Dave Richardson had a big solo home run for the Travelers in the top of the fifth inning. With Arkansas leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old designated hitter Sean Thompson and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Travelers on top, 3-1.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Olivas.
