JetHawks Rack Up 4-0 Win Versus Lake Elsinore
|
Lake Elsinore Diamond was the site of the home opener for the Lake Elsinore Storm. The contest featured a prime matchup between Ludovico Morbey of the visiting Lancaster JetHawks and Geoff Erickson of the Storm. The final score was 4-0, the JetHawks getting the win. Geoff Erickson turned in the best performance.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Mike Wilson? The Lancaster shortstop had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the JetHawks on top, 1-0. For the game, Wilson had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We took home the win," said Wilson. "What's not to like?"
