Smith Helps SeaWolves Run Win Streak to 7
The Erie SeaWolves finished off the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 10-2. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Jerry Smith. Smith was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the SeaWolves. Erie, at 9-3, has sizzled in the early going.

With Erie leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Smith hit a sinker from Williams Mendoza for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the SeaWolves ahead, 6-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Smith told the Erie Daily. "It's as simple as that."
