The 9-4 Lancaster win over Rancho Cucamonga was due largely to Andy Kirk. The JetHawks third baseman was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Lancaster reliever Juan Domínguez was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Mike McLean. The JetHawks, now 7-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Kirk had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The JetHawks went on to win.
