The Rawhide grabbed a win, 3-2, at Recreation Park, overcoming a fine effort from San Jose pitcher Andy Dunbar. Dunbar went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Visalia reliever José Alaniz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Rob Schroeder absorbed the loss. Conner Prowse picked up the save, his 2nd.

Visalia took a 3-2 lead on Jonathan Goodman's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Goodman hit in the bottom of the seventh, left San Jose pitcher Rob Schroeder visibly frustrated.

Visalia manager called it "a good, solid win."

San Jose falls to 4-4.
