Nuts Get Extra-Inning, 5-4 Win
The Modesto Nuts overcame a pretty good performance by San Jose left fielder Josh Ford, beating the Giants, 5-4, in 11 innings. Ford was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Eric White picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Joe Campbell was tagged with the loss. San Jose is 8-6 after the defeat.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chris Boucher in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Campbell to win the game for Modesto. The home crowd went nuts.

Boucher described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
