Hines Lifts Ports to 11-8 Triumph
The Stockton Ports and Visalia Rawhide lit up the scoreboard.

Stockton right fielder Dan Hines had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Visalia Rawhide, 11-8. Earning his 2nd save of the year was César Rodríguez.

With Stockton leading 4-0 in the bottom of the third, Hines batted against Visalia pitcher Dan Whaley. Hines hit a changeup to left for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Ports on top, 8-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Hines told the Stockton Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The victory makes Stockton 10-5.
