The Ports grabbed a win, 3-2, at Banner Island Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Visalia pitcher Ed Webb. Webb went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. At 13-5, the Ports have played well so far.

Stockton got a knockout punch from Jeremy Lilly. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Lilly told the Stockton Citizen. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
