San Jose got a big-time effort from pitcher Rob Dalmahoy, but it wasn't enough to keep the Visalia Rawhide from winning the game, 8-4. Dalmahoy threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. San Jose falls to 13-11.

Visalia center fielder José Méndez produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the eighth with Edgardo Roa on the mound and Visalia leading 4-3. Méndez got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.
