Rice K's 10 En Route to 3-1 Blaze Win
In a low-scoring contest between the Bakersfield Blaze and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Cam Rice, who is rated as the 33rd best prospect by BNN, proved to be the difference. The Bakersfield left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Blaze win. The save went to Chris Hall, number 4 for him. The victory makes Bakersfield 15-10, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2026.

Rice, the winner, is now 3-1. In 7.2 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 5 hits, while collecting 10 Ks. He essentially shut down the Rancho Cucamonga offense.

"I got in a good groove," said Rice. "I was getting some swings and misses."
