The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes took on the Bakersfield Blaze at LoanMart Field.

Rancho Cucamonga turned a good effort from starter Julián Segura into a win over the Bakersfield Blaze at LoanMart Field. The final score was 4-0. The loss drops the Blaze to 17-11.

Rancho Cucamonga first baseman Eric Columbus helped the Quakes go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Columbus hit a run-scoring single off Bakersfield pitcher Joey Corbett.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Columbus. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
