Storm Get 2-0 Win Versus Rancho Cucamonga
In a low-scoring game between the Lake Elsinore Storm and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, pitcher Greg Lewry was masterful on the mound. The Lake Elsinore right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Luis Maldonado collected save number 4. The triumph makes Lake Elsinore 7-23.

Juan Pérez had a big run-scoring double for the Storm in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Lake Elsinore leading 1-0 and a runner on 3rd, he got a fastball from Jamal Haley, who is tied for 7th in the CAL with a 10.4 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to right. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Storm ahead, 2-0.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Storm manager Chris Greene. "This one was nice to get."
