66ers right fielder Kevin Brown left his imprint on his team's 7-4 win over the High Desert Mavericks. Brown was 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times for Inland Empire in the contest. Inland Empire reliever Jim Bentley got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Joe Hicks was tagged with the loss. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Mike Wolf.

Pete Keen helped out the Inland Empire cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 1-4.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Brown told the Inland Empire Chronicle.
