The Lake Elsinore Storm topped the Modesto Nuts, 8-2, with youngster Zander Revels playing a key role. Revels was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Storm in the win. Geoff Erickson picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-4. He struck out 2 in 7 innings. The victory puts Lake Elsinore at 12-24.
With Lake Elsinore leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Revels hit a curveball from Sal Williams for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Storm ahead, 4-0.
