The San Jose Giants downed the Lake Elsinore Storm, 4-1, at Lake Elsinore Diamond. Stellar pitching by Enrico Ramírez had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the CAL in complete games with 1, handcuffed his opponent all game. San Jose reliever Ethan Walton picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Luis Maldonado was saddled with the loss. With the win, San Jose upped its record to 23-20.

Edmund Richards had a direct impact on the outcome. Richards contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put San Jose up, 3-1.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Ramírez.
