Mavericks Pick Up 7-4 Win Against Inland Empire
Jamie Bolitho had a good game, but he could not keep the Inland Empire 66ers from falling, 7-4, to the High Desert Mavericks at Stater Bros. Stadium. The Inland Empire shortstop went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The winning pitcher was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Eric Hall. He tossed 90 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 12 hits. Chris Martin closed the game out for High Desert, earning his 10th save.

In the bottom of the second, High Desert catcher Josh Hughes had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Hughes stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 2-0, High Desert. For the game, he was 2-3 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
