The Inland Empire 66ers defeated the Visalia Rawhide, 4-3, in California League action at San Manuel Stadium. Inland Empire pitcher Jorge Hernández had a standout performance. Inland Empire bumps their record to 24-26 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Inland Empire third baseman Jesús Ruíz, facing Dave Hensley, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the 66ers the 4-3 win.

After the game, Inland Empire manager Kent Matthes applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
