Boucher Helps Modesto Outscore Stockton
The 14-11 Modesto win over Stockton was due in large part to Chris Boucher. The Nuts designated hitter went 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Modesto pitcher Bhu Laput earned the win, hiking his record to 3-4. Steve Green suffered the loss. Eric White picked up his 8th save of the season.

With one out in the top of the seventh, Chris Davis had a game-changing hit. The Nuts first baseman slammed a 2-run single off Tim Hilton, making the score 13-9, Modesto.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Boucher told the Modesto Times.
