Thompson Lifts Rawhide to 8-6 Triumph
Due in large part to right fielder Caden Thompson, the Visalia Rawhide sunk the San Jose Giants, 8-6. Thompson went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Conner Prowse got credit for the save for Visalia. It was his 9th of the year. The Rawhide raised their record to 24-42.

In the top of the sixth, the Rawhide grabbed the lead when Thompson hit his 6th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Jesús Rivera made it 8-4, Visalia.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Thompson.
