The High Desert Mavericks picked up a win at San Manuel Stadium, topping the Inland Empire 66ers, 4-0. On the mound for High Desert was right-hander Steve Hankins. He played a principal role in the triumph. The Mavericks go to 36-39, putting them 4th in the South Division.
