New Hampshire and Erie played a hard-fought contest.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats picked up a win at Jerry Uht Park, dropping the Erie SeaWolves, 3-1. Bo Ferguson was the difference-maker. Erie is 9-4 after the defeat.

New Hampshire won the game in part because of Tomás Biester. The center fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Fisher Cats ahead, 3-0. For the game, Biester had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

In postgame remarks, Biester hailed his team's "mettle."
