Visalia Sends Modesto Packing with 6-3 Loss
The Visalia Rawhide beat the Modesto Nuts, 6-3. Visalia pitcher and Santee, California, native Al Ford led the way. Ford, now 8-11, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 10, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Picking up the save was Dave Hensley. He's now 26 for 27 in save chances.
