Lynchburg turned a fine outing from starter Zander Kelly into a victory over the Frederick Keys at Harry Grove Stadium. The final score was 8-2. Lynchburg is now 2-0.

Bret Carlson helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Lynchburg a 1-0 lead.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Kelly after the game.
