The Dash grabbed a win, 8-3, at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Potomac pitcher Dan Bernard. Bernard went 5.2 innings and allowed no runs. Ken Peterson nailed down the save. Potomac now has a record of 3-2.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Joe Bailey? The Winston-Salem catcher had a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Dash on top, 4-3. For the game, Bailey had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
