The Frederick Keys were defeated, 2-1, by the Myrtle Beach Pelicans at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, even though Robby Holloway pitched well for Frederick. Frederick drops to 2-3.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning. Facing Frederick hurler Robby Holloway, Israel Menéndez reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. The Pelicans went on to win.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Menéndez after the game.
