Kendrick hits 2 home runs to Ignite Blue Rocks Offense
The Wilmington Blue Rocks defeated the Carolina Mudcats, 13-6, at Grainger Stadium. Wilmington left fielder Ben Kendrick had a superb performance. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, Wilmington goes to 3-2.

Wilmington used the hitting of Eric Barnes to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Blue Rocks on top, 6-3. For the game, Barnes had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Kendrick.
