Winston-Salem designated hitter Joe Bailey contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Dash ahead, 3-0.

Bailey called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
