Dash Squelch Nationals Offense in Shutout Win
The Winston-Salem Dash got a magnificent effort from pitcher Cristiano Rodríguez, who kept Potomac hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Dash win at New Winston-Salem Ballpark. Mike Brown closed the game out for Winston-Salem, earning his 5th save. The Nationals drop to 7-13, as their stumbling start to the 2025 season continues.

The Dash got a big at-bat from center fielder Vince Cleveland. For the game, Cleveland went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Winston-Salem a 2-0 lead.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Cesar Martin. "That was the problem."
