The Carolina Mudcats picked up a win at Harry Grove Stadium, knocking off the Frederick Keys, 3-2. On the mound for Carolina was right-hander Dave Norwood. He played a key role in the triumph. The winner was Norwood. He threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was José Velásquez. Losses have been few and far between for the Keys, who are now 16-7.
