A good performance from first baseman Eric Atkins helped the Wilmington Blue Rocks defeat the Frederick Keys, 3-2. Atkins went 2-3 with a double and a walk for the Blue Rocks. Pete Mousset earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game. With the victory, the Blue Rocks upped their record to 16-15.

Wilmington left fielder Steve Crow helped the Blue Rocks go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Crow hit a run-scoring single off Frederick pitcher Jimmy Duncan.

"I'm the humblest guy I know," Crow told a local reporter without a hint of irony.
