Good production from left fielder Ethan Lockyer helped the Salem Red Sox topple the Potomac Nationals, 4-1. Lockyer was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Red Sox. Getting the save was Ismael Santos, his 11th. After today's action, Salem sits at 17-21, while Potomac falls to 12-26.

Lockyer had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 fastball from Esteban Ojeda, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Red Sox a 4-1 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Lockyer.

"This team is capable of getting on a roll," said Salem skipper Jose Nieves.
