Wilmington center fielder Chris Huggins contributed significantly to his team's 8-3 win over the Frederick Keys. Huggins went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Blue Rocks. Mike McCoy earned the save for Wilmington, his 1st of the year. With the win, the Blue Rocks hiked their record to 24-17.

Wilmington used a clutch at-bat from Bret Muldoon to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Rocks ahead, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Huggins.
