Castro Leads Lynchburg Past Wilmington
The Lynchburg Hillcats went home winners at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Orlando Castro. Castro stifled the Wilmington Blue Rocks, enabling Lynchburg to grab the 7-0 win. The win puts Lynchburg at 26-16 this season.

The famously hardworking Castro handled the Blue Rocks all day, notching 5 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 1 hit. Castro goes to 3-2 on the year with 33 strikeouts.

"Orlando executed his pitches at a high level," said Lynchburg manager Nick Markakis.
