Lópes, who is tied for 10th in the CAR in home runs with 6, went 4 for 7 with 4 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Blue Rocks. With the win, Wilmington has a record of 21-24. Frederick falls to 26-19.

Wilmington relied on the hitting of Dan Snider to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Blue Rocks on top, 8-7. For the game, Snider had 1 triple and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Lópes told the Wilmington Herald.
